Track II: Bridging Suppers

Ready to connect across lines of difference? We invite you to host or join a dinner with strangers: folks who desire real understanding and who are willing to grant welcome in exchange for receiving it. This track will explicitly focus on connecting folks who wouldn’t otherwise have a chance to meet, in order to expand our circles of care.

We invite you to share moments, recent and long passed, in which you've been made to feel unwelcome, unsafe, unworthy, and threatened. And we invite you to reflect on moments in which you have felt the opposite — private and public moments, moments with strangers and moments with friends — in which you were welcome to be whomever you are, in which you were safe, in which you witnessed America at its best, rather than its worst.
