ABOUT YOUR HOST: Nancy is originally from San Diego yet has been in Arizona since 1972 and a Prescott resident since 1989. She enjoyed and appreciated a career in Human Resources Management until her retirement in 2006. Through her years in Prescott she has been active in volunteerism in a variety of organizations including as a Hospice volunteer, service at Yavapai Regional Medical Center and as a Court Appointed Advocate for Children (CASA). More recently she serves as a facilitator within the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Yavapai College, and as a facilitator of Death Cafes. She is eclectic in her tastes in almost every aspect of life from arts and music to intimacy and politics. She is a trained Spiritual Director and, in addition to providing spiritual companionship to private clients, she serves within the addiction recovery community facilitating Spiritual Companioning sessions. She particularly likes being outdoors by water during warmer months and tending a fire in a mountain hideaway in the winter. She is a BnB host and enjoys special times with family and long-term friends and welcomes new friends to her home who enjoy interesting conversations and meaningful connections.
