ABOUT THE HOSTS:
Paula lives on a small farmstead with her husband, two young children, mother, friends, and mates, goats, chickens, ducks, cats, rabbits, dogs, and bees in Sebastopol, California. Community is a way of life. She loves learning whether in the classroom or outside. She earned her PhD in biochemistry. These days she spends most of her time running after the kids, milking goats, tending gardening, with a few hours in a classroom discussing biology with community college students. Paula loves to gather people and good food creating space for magic to happen!
Kerry is a community builder who lives in Northern California with her husband and son. She believes that through community, curiosity, and self-care we create our own unique art of mothering. Based on this philosophy she created Mothering Arts, a supportive, nurturing, and nourishing program for mothers and babies to gather in that first year after birth. Her education and experience include Waldorf early childhood, LifeWays North America, and twelve years working with families and young children. She enjoys gardening, music, hiking, camping and creating magical family experiences. At the root of what she learns each day within her own family and in community is CONNECTION. Rather than listen to agree or disagree with others and philosophies, listen to learn.
