ABOUT THE EVENT: This is a bridging lunch
ABOUT THE HOSTS: If there’s one word that describes your hosts, Charles and Linda, it would be curiosity. A curiosity about people and their amazing stories sparked their careers as a photographer/filmmaker (Charles) and writer/editor (Linda). A curiosity about other cultures ignited their passion for travel, which has taken them to destinations as remote as western China. Their curiosity about how to live a more sustainable life and grow their own food led them 20 years ago to purchase their current home, a 100-acre farm near Louisburg, N.C., located approximate an hour north of Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill. Natives of the Carolinas, Charles and Linda have lived in the Research Triangle area for 35+ years. While reared in the conservative, Southern Baptist culture of the South, they both consider themselves raging moderates these days, often finding that their opinions on politics, culture and religion falls on both sides of the conservative/liberal divide.
