Track I: Healing Suppers

Not quite ready to build bridges? No rush. We invite you to host a supper with folks you know, sitting down over shared meals and in spaces that invite belonging and individual and collective healing.

We'll share guidebooks and resources with each table, tailored to the makeup of your community. One set of suggested guidelines, developed mostly by Black, Brown, and People of Color, will be specific to targeted groups who share a common identity and vocabulary and have seen an increase in hate crimes since the election—People of Color, LGBTQ folks, Muslim Americans, immigrants, Latinos, and people with disabilities. We’ll share a different set of resources with hosts who wish to convene a conversation among white allies seeking to challenge racism and oppression in their own communities and beyond, and for those wishing to host a dinner among a mix of folks who share different identities.
